We had a very successful show in Nov. to finish the year. The winners of the Kayo Welles Memorial Cutting on Saturday are:

Winners received a canvas briefcase with leather award tooling, all donated by Ted and Nancy Turner. Thanks to all who participated. We will have photos posted on the website along with those from the Toys For Tots toy drive we did.

We will have a lot of details in the Dec update about the January show and the awards dinner. Make plans to attend the dinner on the Lady Lake Equestrian Center grounds on Jan 2. We are working on some new ideas and I'm sure everyone will have a good time!

I would like to say thank you to everyone in the FCHA for helping me with the projects this year. Every time I asked for help, the answer was an immediate yes. We are extremely lucky to have such a dedicated group of members, and board of directors. All have worked very hard to see that our club has been successful. I have enjoyed every minute of being your President and look forward to working with our new President, Nancy Turner. She has some new innovative ideas and I know next year will be as much fun as this year was. She is loaded with enthusiasm and I know will do a great job.

I hope all of you have a wonderful Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday.

Well the year has gone by fast and we find our selves at the end of the youth year. We have much planned for NCHA Day! We will present the youth year end awards after the youth class, following that we will be having a walk trot class and if needed a lead line class for all of our future cutters. The entry fee is $5.00 which will go to the youth. Our youth kids will be the judges. All entries will receive an award! Horses will be provided if you don't have one. We will also be having a photo booth set up with a beautiful pony for family pictures on Saturday again proceeds going to youth. We will have a slip and slide, volley ball and water games! So bring all the grand kids, nieces and nephews or whoever you want and enjoy the day with us.
